Neymar Hints at PSG Stay Amid Real Madrid Rumors

Sergio Cook | 13 May, 2018, 00:56

The most recent articles say the Brazilian wants to move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, who originally tried to sign him in 2013 before he opted to join Barcelona from Santos.

The winger is said to be unhappy at the French club owing to the low level of competition in the league following their early ouster in the Champions League.

Real have only added to the confusion by openly courting the Brazil global.

"I need to get rid of that fear as soon as possible to arrive at the World Cup". 'I remember one year they said I wasn't compatible to play with Djorkaeff.

'I don't know if we are negotiating for Neymar.

Real take on Liverpool in the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26, and are looking to retain the trophy for a third consecutive season.

"I don't know, I don't think so".

Neymar has unpleasant memories of World Cup injury woe, having missed Brazil's 7-1 semi-final humiliation at the hands of Germany four years ago with a back problem sustained in the last-eight win over Colombia.

The star also lauded his PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe, who is just 19, as "the best in the world for his age".

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane feels that Neymar and Ronaldo would have no problems playing together.

"I am very pleased to have played with players like Victor [Valdes], Carles [Puyol], Andres [Iniesta] and Xavi". So good players can always play together.

"All three of us were close - to the point of being inseparable!"

The Brazilian, while posing with PSG's next season's kit said: "Proud to wear the new jersey and to continue giving you joy", Neymar wrote on social media.
