T.I. issued a statement earlier pertaining to his arrest.

That's because at around 4:30 this morning, he was arrested outside of the gate to his subdivision.

The rapper TI has been arrested on disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and simple assault charges as he tried to enter his gated community outside Atlanta, police have said.

See the full lawyer response, here. Regardless, it's clear that T.I. isn't stressing the arrest and has gone back to spending time with his family.

Rapper T.I.is speaking out following his arrest in Georgia on Wednesday, insisting he was detained over bogus allegations.

He ended the short video saying despite it all, he made it to his son's birthday and will "let God deal with the craziness".

The Grammy-winning artist apparently lost his key, and the security guard wouldn't let him in, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

T.I.'s mug shot from Wednesday morning arrest.

Since 2001, T.I has carried a high profile in the rap industry, with hits including "What You Know", "Live Your Life" with Rihanna and "Dead and Gone" with Justin Timberlake. He claimed that the guard was sleeping on the job and started a "very heated debate" when he woke up.

'The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse. 'With all we been through this is small potatoes, man'.

"Tip was in contact with Tiny by phone and Tiny confirmed that Tip should be let in immediately", Sadow adds. But. he returned shortly after on foot to confront the security guard again, who then called the police.

"The guard continued to refuse entry without justification", Sadow said in a statement, referring to T.I.as Tip. Sadow also said the police weren't interested in hearing his client's side of the story when they arrived on the scene and "wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting" him.

His friend, Marquinarius Holmes, 40, of Stockbridge, was arrested on outstanding charges out of Clayton County and for not having proof of auto insurance, the sheriff's office told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
