"We have said before that Iranian military advisers are not present in southern Syria and have not participated in recent operations", Shamkhani said.
"The increase in Israeli violence against the oppressed people in Gaza and the West Bank is a reactive response to the defeat of the plan to use Takfiri terrorists to provoke clashes in the Muslim world and deplete resources of Muslim countries", Shamkhani said.
The current controversy comes after a week of tension in southern Syria.
"This move is a positive step for further control of the Syrian government on its territories occupied by terrorist groups", he noted.
Russian Federation said last week that only Syrian army troops should be on the country's southern border with Jordan and Israel. Jihadists associated with the Nusra Front, which was al-Qaeda in Syria, briefly were influential near the border, and an Islamic State affiliate also took over a small area.
"Of course", he added, "I will reiterate an unchanging truth: Israel will not allow Iran to achieve nuclear weapons".
Israel has had a channel to Moscow since Russian Federation first established its air presence in Syria in fall 2015.
Meanwhile, Israeli Hadashot TV reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the situation in Syria in a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The US administration wants to continue exerting pressures on the regime", Asharq Al-Awsat quoted Western diplomats as saying. Israel was informed about them as we were working on them. Jordan, which is now suffering limited protests, does not want instability caused by a Syrian offensive in the south which might see the rebels defeated and refugees pour across the border.
Iran has repeatedly said in the past that it only has advisers in Syria but thousands of Iran-backed groups from Lebanon, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan have played instrumental role in helping government forces regain control of areas held by insurgents.
"Any interested party in Syria should understand that attacking USA forces or our coalition partners will be a bad policy", Lieutenant General Kenneth McKenzie, director of the Joint Staff, said at a press conference in Washington on May 31. Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman also spoke to his counterpart.
In an interview with Russia's RT television on May 31, Assad asserted that he is willing to negotiate with Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that are allied with and embedded with USA forces and now hold about one-quarter of Syria's territory. "We don't have any other options, with the Americans or without the Americans", he said.
But he said he will reclaim their territory by force, if necessary.
"Contrary to the unlawful presence of the USA and some regional countries in Syria, Iran's presence is not imposed and is not the result of an illegal military aggression".
A source told the Ynet news site on Thursday that "Israel is uninterested in partial agreements, but rather in an exit of all Iranian forces from Syria".
The US's presence in Syria is not sanctioned under global law. In 2017 he pressed the Trump administration to commit to challenge Iranian forces in Syria after victory in the campaign against the Islamic State. Iran's regime claims it was invited to support the Syrian regime and its forces therefore are not "foreign".
Iran says ISIS was created under a plot by Israel, the United States and their allies to disintegrate West Asian countries and protect the Israeli regime. Pompeo has been outspoken in condemnation of Iran's role in Syria.
As news of the deal between Russian Federation and Israel broke, London-based Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Moscow and Tel Aviv agreed to "limit" Iran's military presence in southwestern Syria.
