While the actual kick-off of the tour was enough to make the couple trend worldwide, a cameo by twins Sir and Rumi Carter - who celebrate their first birthday on 13 June - stole the spotlight, E!

JAY-Z and Beyoncé officially kicked off their On The Run II Tour overseas and they've sent their fans into a frenzy by sharing new photos of their 11-month-old twins, Sir Carter and Rumi.

The images sent fans into a frenzy as people rushed to pull out their phones and take photos of the screens. News the video - in which Bey, Jay, Blue, Sir and Rumi are dressed in white - played in the background while the couple sang Young Forever. The photos were accompanied by messages that read "Love is Universal", and "Love Never Changes". Her bejewelled, semi-sheer look is an example of Beyoncé's strategy of regularly championing up-and-coming labels. "The couple worked very hard to get past their issues, and realized they are better together than apart".

When tickets to Beyoncé and Jay Z's On The Run II tour sold out globally in under 15 minutes earlier this year, those of us who managed to bag one (I'm not smug at all) knew we'd be in for a treat come June.

The next tour stop is Glasgow on Saturday and OTRII will hit Vancouver's BC Place on October 2, 2018.

The North American dates begin in Cleveland, Ohio on 25 July and run until 4 October, when they hit the stage in Seattle, Washington.
