Roseanne Barr, the embroiled television star whose namesake show was canceled after she tweeted racist sentiments about a former Obama administration official, said Thursday night that she's not a racist.

Literally adding insult to injury, Barr added that she'd also like to tell Jarrett that "she needs to get a new haircut", adding, "I mean seriously".

Barr also claimed that she had to sign off on the spinoff in order for ABC to green light it, telling Hannity she didn't want to "try to argue or win".

'Well, I kind of think I am, ' Barr said.

"I'm not a racist and the people who voted for Trump, they're not racist either, and Trump isn't a racist, sorry. I said put it out there", she said. It's been two months.

Though Barr stayed relatively tame on her "Hannity" appearance, she has been fiery on her own YouTube channel and on social media. "What were you thinking when you said that?" asked Sean.

"Now instead what happened, about 40 minutes after that, my show was canceled before even one advertiser pulled out, and I was labeled a racist", she said. "Don't assume that you know what I meant because I think you don't know what I meant and I would like to make it clear to you what I did meant - mean", she said before delivering another insult. "We just have a different opinion", she said.

Jarrett, for her part, has largely sidestepped the controversy. And I went into the whole discussion of racism and that blew my mind because it was so much what the show I was doing was about.

"I hate everyone equally", Roseanne said, wresting the spotlight back. "I thought she was Middle Eastern".

The comedy club that hosted the event has previously hosted Milo Yiannopoulos, Ann Coulter and Gavin McInnes.

"In your circle?" Barr said, surprised.

'That's why I'm allowing this podcast.

She offered a difficult-to-follow explanation that involved her feelings regarding former US President Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett's role in devising a nuclear deal with Iran. She is not Muslim and both of her parents were born in the U.S.

"Of course I'd tell her, she's got to get a new haircut".

"I have apologized a lot".

Barr repeatedly told Hannity that to her, the tweet was a political statement and had nothing to do with race.

Later in the interview, Hannity asked Barr to address Jarrett directly.

Barr said she has struggled with mental health issues, adding she had multiple personalities that were integrated a dozen years ago through therapy.
